I should join a bookclub. I’ve never been to one before. Do you get to just talk about all the things you loved about a book and share in the same enjoyment of reading it cover to cover in one shot? I need these people in my life. The only problem is I read way too many books at once, ranging from romance, finance, all the way to women’s reproductive system. If you can relate… Hi, let’s be friends! These are two books I’ve been making my way through this summer and I’m enjoying them both so much.
I first heard Kate Northrup as a guest on a podcast I was listening to and loved her vibe! A few short pages into her book and I was hooked. She has put into words (and science) all the struggles and joys I experience when it comes to time management. Why do I feel like I’m killing it one week and totally confused the next? Um, hi, my cycle! So weird. So cool. I love learning about this stuff, especially when she provides the facts and practical advice. You don’t have to be a mom to enjoy this read.
Mind. Blown. I love all things finance. Learning the skill of making money work for you, as opposed to you working for money, is so fascinating to me. It’s an easy read with stories from Robert Kiosaki’s childhood and lessons he learned about how we’re taught to handle money. If you’re interested in learning more about financial freedom, add this to your next read!
I hope you get to snuggle up on the couch with a good read this weekend. Tell me what you’re currently reading!
